All About Fly To The Sky

This is a little something to share. Although this is not recent but it is a good interview. Enjoy!!!

We’ve been very busy lately creating relationships with stars in the K-Pop industry. Our goal at ShenYuePop has always been to bring you the latest and greatest news, and what better way than to bring the news directly to you from major players in the industry?

Brian Joo is a very respectable and talented artist in the K-Pop industry, a legend if we may say so, and even with his grueling schedule, Brian found the time to provide us with an exclusive interview!

Well, without further ado, here’s our first exclusive celebrity interview (of many to come)!

Q1: It’s already the year 2008!! Do you have anything you want to do in this New Year?
A1: I wanna go into acting and hopefully into Hollywood to break into the US market… Just Like Yun Jin Park(from “LOST”) and James Kyson Lee(from “HEROES”)
(Lost and Heroes are two of his fav. tv shows!! Oops, he made a mistake in his answer…it’s Kim Yun Jin, not Park Yun Jin..hehe)

Q2: What are your New Year’s Resolutions, that’s if you have any?
A2: To get back into shape and build a healthier body… To be stronger emotionally because I am way too sensitive… and to spend more time with God and build-up my spiritual life…
(He likes to work out and is very religious. Brian…hope u finish reading that Bible of yours soon ^^)

Q3: We heard that Hwanhy’s coming out with a solo album. Is it true and can you give us any info at this time about it?! Even if it’s the slightest tidbits ^^
A3: Well, Hwany is going to be releasing a solo album but, since he’s busy with is drama “SaRangHae”, I don’t have an exact date when that will be released… sorry, for not being much help to you…
(yay!! Can’t wait for his album and drama ^^)

Q4: So you guys are having the “Ready to Launch” concert in Hawaii on February 9th. Why did you guys choose to have it in Hawaii instead of a place where there are more fans, like in LA?!
A4: Well, to be honest, Hawaii contacted us and wanted us to do a show there and I’ve never been there so I am looking forward to it… And it’s not that we’re not trying to do shows in other areas, but we just need time to talk to business people in those areas and we need to get sponsors… I hope you understand…

Q5: Have you ever thought of crossing over to the US or just coming out with an English album?
A5: Plenty of times, but timing is always an issue… Cause we always end up doing other things to keep us from doing all the things we want to do… Hopefully, one day… I’ll get to live that dream of breaking out into the States

Q6: It’s almost your’s and Hwany’s birthday!! Is there anything special you guys want to receive or do?!
A6: I know this’ll sound like an obvious answer, but I really appreciate and love all the gifts our fans give us… even the little things… Although, I do know that I’m getting a few HUGE gifts this year, like a computer, monitor, speakers, and so on… I LOVE MY FANS~!
(Brian’s birthday is on the Jan. 10th and Hwany’s is on the 17th!!)

R&B 듀오 플라이투더스카이 데뷔 10주년을 기념한  리메이크  앨범을  발매한다

R&B duo, Fly to the Sky will be releasing a remake album as an anniversary as they had debuted for 10 years.

플라이투더스카이는  4월  리메이크  앨범을  발표하며본격적인 활동에나선다

Fly to the Sky has announced that the remake album will be released in April and they will have some activity as an official event to launch the remake album.

정규앨범을  발매하기 전에 10주년을 기념할 만한 앨범 작업을 해보자고

의기투합해 리매이크 앨범을 발매하기로 했다” 고했다말

Fly to the Sky’s person in charge is hoping that, before they release their official Fly to the Sky album, they will like to have a remake album as to celebrate their 10^th year anniversary of debuting. They will also have activities to launch the remake album and also hoping to have a good sale.

플라이투더스카이는 1999년 데뷔 해활동을 이어가며 대한민국의  대표 R&B듀오로 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 이들은  변함없는사랑을  보낸준 팬들에게  특별한  선물을마력해  주고자  자신들이 좋아하는  인기곡을  리매이크해 발표하게 됐다. 플라이투더스카이는  현재 (취중진담) 의  녹음을  마친  상태로4월초까지 곡선장과  녹음을 끝내고  활동을 시잔한다.

When Fly to the Sky debuted in 1999, they are the 1^st Korean K-pop duo and since then, they have been recognized by the fans from all over. So, in order to appreciate their supporting fan, they have decided to give them a little present, which is to sing a few songs by their very own favorite singers. As to that, they have made this remake album. Fly to the Sky now have finished recording (취중진담-) and in the beginning of April, they will a choose a 1^st hit song to launch the remake album.

이 관계자는  “팬들이  사랑하는많은 곡들을 플라이투더스카이의 감상으로 새롭게  표현하고있다. 리메이크앨범이  픈들에게  색다른  즐거움을줄 수 있을  거라  자신한다” 고 말했다.

According to the person in charge, the previous songs that Fly to the Sky’s fans love so much has been sung with full passion and emotion, but Fly to the Sky want something new and so they have decided to sing something new and fresh.

Fly to the Sky (Korean: 플라이 투 더 스카이) is a South Korean R&B duo, consisting of U.S.-born Brian Joo and South Korean native Hwanhee.

Initially marketed as a duo that can sing, rap, and dance, their early works featured bubblegum pop and upbeat techno music the duo later changed their image and style with the release of Sea of Love in 2002. With their subsequent albums, the duo solidified their status as R&B artists and are credited as the first R&B duo of South Korea.

As Fly To The Sky fans, we know that Fly To The Sky has started to notice about their foreign fans. They had been to Japan, Hawaii and even Thailand. I just wish the through this group i can try to unite all FTTS malaysia fans, hope that one day FTTS will also notice about Malaysia FTTS fans and come here to have their world tour promo.
